2015년, 2008년 시작된 대구아트페어는 전시장 규모에 비해 매년 참가 작품과 거래 규모 면에서 성장하며 지역 미술시장으로 자리매김하고 있다.
규모보다는 질적 수준을 높이기 위해 신청한 140개 화랑 가운데 105개 화랑만 참가시켰다. 또한 미술 작품 거래뿐만 아니라 신진작가의 등용문으로 성장하게 되었다. 특별전으로는 재외 작가 권순철 개인전이 전시됐다. 해외에서 활발히 활동하며 한국 미술 발전에 기여한 작가 중 1인을 선정해 특별 부스를 마련했다.

In 2015, the Daegu Art Fair, which started in 2008, has been growing in terms of participating works and transaction volume every year compared to the size of the exhibition hall, establishing itself as a regional art market.
In order to increase the quality level rather than the scale, only 105 galleries participated out of 140 galleries that applied, and it has grown to become a gateway for emerging artists as well as art trading. One of the special exhibitions was a solo exhibition by overseas artist Kwon Soon-cheol. One artist who has been active overseas and contributed to the development of Korean art was selected for a special booth.
